It's been nearly a decade since we graduated high school. How does that make you feel? I hope it makes you feel like partying, because your Reunion Planning Committee has organized a weekend of events that will give everyone plenty of time to catch up with old friends and make some great new memories.

In order to make the reunion affordable and to keep registration simple, purchasing a ticket to the reunion includes all events. While attendance at each event is optional, if you purchase a ticket you will be contributing to the entire weekend. So join us whenever you can! The HHS 10 Year Reunion officially begins on Friday, October 19th, 2007 with an informal gathering at the Old Whedon Grill in downtown Hudson. The Reunion continues with events throughout the weekend, culminating in “The Main Event” on Saturday night, October 20th.

“The Main Event” on Saturday evening will be held at the Lake Forest Country Club in Hudson. The committee looked at many places around the Hudson area, and Lake Forest was best able to accommodate us with reasonable prices and a large ballroom in relative proximity to a huge lake for people to dive into late at night. There will be a DJ, dancing, and an excellent buffet dinner. A cash bar will be available throughout the entire event.

The bar is open until 2 a.m. for those of us that wish to drink into the wee hours of the morning.

Sorry, but no children on Saturday night. Kids and alcohol don’t mix well.

PAYMENT INFO AND DRESS CODE

• You must purchase a ticket (for you and your guest, if you decide to bring one. Dates are optional – rented dates are fine, too.) to attend the event
• Only those who graduated from HHS in 1997 will be allowed to purchase tickets. Since we will have a limited number of spaces (not that limited) due to banquet hall size restrictions, we will let all HHS97 graduates register first. We will then open up the registration to those people like who didn't technically graduate from Hudson, but were part of our class in some form. Reunion attendance isn't easy to predict, but we are planning on having enough spaces to fit everyone who wants to attend, and then room for non-grads.
• *** Please note at this time we are selling "last minute" tickets for $80 apiece until the day before the reunion. We will not be taking money at the door. • Cost includes: appetizers at Old Whedon Grille on Friday night, Open House at HHS and reservation of a picnic area at Hudson Springs Park on Saturday afternoon, and DJ, appetizers, dinner, awards, memories (memories aren’t cheap these days!) on Saturday night as well as the set-up and hosting for the Hudson97.com website.

• Dress Code for the “Main Event”: Please note that Saturday night will be a SEMI-FORMAL AFFAIR. Feel free to dress however you feel most comfortable, but note that jacket and ties are recommended for the guys, and skirts/dresses are recommended for the ladies.
